Sporting Loughborough FC in conjunction with Rainbows on the Queens Platinum Jubilee Day

Sporting Loughborough FC in partnership with the Lodge Farm Residents had a fabulous and hugely successful Queens Platinum Jubilee Celebration at Lodge Farm on Sunday 5th June. We had ball races, 3 legged races, sack races, a scrufts competition, 2 birthday celebrations, penalty shoot-out, cross-bar challenge and numerous other activities.

This was done in conjunction with Rainbows and we raised a massive £800 for them which is desperately needed. If anyone wishes to know more about Rainbows and the amazing work they do in the community, please visit www.rainbows.co.uk/.

Chairman Peter Arme said “ I would like to convey the clubs appreciation to local resident campaigner Paul Cooper, John and Angela Cherry on the T-bar, Cassie Neale for making the "Guess the cake weight" and Rochelle, Aidan and Scott for all their volunteer help to make the day such a huge success for Rainbows. The day was a massive success, I'm so proud of everyone who participated and enjoyed the day. Well done to all”.
